About the Position This is temporary work on an as-needed basis – you accept or decline each shift based on your own schedule. The types of assignments we help with include weddings, conferences, anniversaries, and other events, so your duties can range from serving and working the bar to carrying items and setting up furniture, or sometimes even managing the coat check. Work shifts will be offered with both long and short notice – sometimes months in advance, sometimes the same day. Qualifications You should have several years of experience in table service from a restaurant, event venue, or catering company. You master the basics of table setting, service, and have knowledge of basic allergens. You can quickly familiarize yourself with the food and beverages to be served and feel confident managing your own station at a seated dinner. You maintain high service standards even under stress and are quick to adapt to new locations and procedures. You are flexible, reliable, and punctual – our clients trust us to send the right person to every event.
