RESPONSIBILITIES Our owner municipalities, Stockholm and Huddinge, have developed local action programs to achieve good water status in recipients within our operating area. Stockholm Water and Waste has a major responsibility for achieving the goals of good water status, not least through our commitment to plan and build facilities for stormwater treatment. In the Renewal Piping Systems group, you will be one of 10 committed investigators. You will work in a smaller group (approximately 3 people) that primarily focuses on progressing the work of treating stormwater from the existing environment. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that investigations are conducted professionally according to schedule and budget and have the authority to make decisions within given frameworks regarding investigation work. An important aspect is that within the scope of investigations, you are responsible for requisitions/orders/purchases, in accordance with applicable authorization and delegation regulations where you represent the company. This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period with placement at the head office in Ulvsunda, Bromma. Your work will include, among other things: • Plan and prioritize the company's commitments from local action programs • Conduct investigations of proposed treatment facilities • Prepare investment proposals and formulate project orders in accordance with the company's project model for steering committees, investment councils, and the board • Conduct dialogues with owner municipalities regarding concrete action proposals and strategies for achieving good water status • Participate in the joint development of operations and working methods • Participate in follow-up and reporting work QUALIFICATIONS As a person, you are meticulous, good at seeing the big picture, and skilled at identifying, managing, and following up on details in your work. Furthermore, you are structured in the way you plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently to achieve progress. In your work, you will have many internal and external contacts, and therefore it is important to have good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate pedagogically both verbally and in writing. Requirements to succeed in this role: • At least 10 years of relevant work experience • Civil/university engineer degree or other relevant natural science/technical education/competence • Experience investigating and/or designing stormwater treatment facilities • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as Swedish is our working language in which our investigations and formal decision documents are written. It is meritorious if you have the following: • Experience working with budgets, calculations, forecasts, financial monitoring, prioritization of measures, risk management, and scheduling. • Water and wastewater expertise, preferably related to treatment measures in complex tunnel systems and/or hydraulics. • Experience working with water management and recipients. • Aptitude and interest in coordination, reporting, and follow-up • Class B driver's license—because work is sometimes mobile.
