We are now looking for a highly experienced and self-driven system administrator for an assignment with our client in Linköping. The role requires clear seniority and deep technical expertise in Ansible-based automation and virtualization with KVM in a security-classified environment.
You will work in a technically advanced operation where stability, security, and structure are critical. The assignment demands that you take ownership, make technical decisions, and drive work forward without requiring detailed supervision.
About the Assignment
In this role, you will be responsible for operations, development, and further enhancement of Linux-based environments with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL.
A central part of your responsibilities includes:
Designing, implementing, and managing automation with Ansible
Working both operationally and strategically with KVM-based virtualization platforms
Standardizing, optimizing, and securing operational environments
You will also contribute to building and managing complex system environments, including simulator solutions, in a security-classified, red, environment. The work involves both independent tasks and close collaboration with other senior experts in system design, operations, and IT security.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
At least eight years of experience as a system administrator or operations technician
Documented senior and self-driven work approach
Very strong and practical experience with Ansible, such as automation, configuration management, and deployment
Deep experience with virtualization using KVM
Very strong competence in Linux, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL
Experience designing, building, and managing robust Linux environments
Ability to troubleshoot even in Windows environments
Meritorious
It is advantageous if you also have experience with:
Networking and IP planning
Firewall configuration
IT security in sensitive environments
Physical installation and infrastructure work
Good communication skills in Swedish and English
