Do you want to take on significant commercial responsibility and work strategically with procurement in an international, technology-driven environment? We're now seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager for an international technology company. Here you'll have a central role in driving and developing strategic procurement work together with engaged colleagues and important collaboration partners around the world.
About the Role
As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you'll have a business-focused and strategic role with significant responsibility for sourcing, negotiation, and long-term supplier strategies. You'll initially be responsible for procuring one of the organization's most strategic procurement categories and then work on developing, following up on, and implementing category and supplier strategies.
You'll work closely with several parts of the organization, including business development, product management, and contract managers. Together you'll ensure that cost and technology plans are converted into competitive solutions and the right supplier choices.
You'll become part of an experienced and welcoming team with broad expertise and diverse backgrounds where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and respect for each other's perspectives are a natural part of everyday work.
The role suits you if you thrive with significant responsibility, many contact points, and are motivated by having a real impact on the business. The role involves considerable travel, initially particularly outside Sweden, so a driver's license is a requirement.
Your Main Responsibilities
Drive advanced procurements and negotiations with strategic suppliers, both nationally and internationally
Take responsibility for commercial agreements and long-term supplier strategies
Develop, monitor, and implement category and supplier strategies

Your Profile
We're looking for someone who is confident in their expertise and has strong commercial drive. You're communicative and relationship-focused and find it easy to build trust both internally and with external collaboration partners.
You have analytical and strategic thinking and can convert insights into concrete decisions and results. You thrive in complex and international environments where you need to navigate between many different contact points and perspectives.
As a person, you are structured, clear, and solution-oriented. You're confident making decisions even when information isn't complete and can balance business acumen, risk, and pace. At the same time, you have a strong interest in negotiation and commercial matters and are motivated by creating long-term sustainable business relationships.
We're looking for someone who has:
Academic education in, for example, engineering, economics, or equivalent
