Are you an experienced security compliance administrator/officer who wants to help develop security compliance work and make a difference in critical public sector operations? We are recruiting two security compliance officers with broad expertise who can support security-sensitive operations and relieve the burden on those responsible within the security compliance organization. About the position In the role as a security compliance officer, you will work in a supporting, advisory and training capacity across all security compliance areas for the entire National Board of Health and Welfare's organization. You will work with information security, personnel security and physical security. You are an important support to both managers and staff and contribute to making security compliance a natural and integrated part of operations. You help ensure that applicable laws, regulations, rules and internal governance are complied with. Examples of work tasks that may be included in the position in whole or in part, depending on your background and experience: broad work with security compliance and development of the authority's security culture. work with monitoring and control of security compliance. support to the authority's security-sensitive operations, such as regarding special security compliance assessment, suitability review, security compliance analysis and position analysis. participation in security interviews. support in developing security compliance agreements and security compliance arrangements. participation in work with physical security. following developments within the security compliance field. informing and developing and conducting short training courses in security compliance. About you The role requires personal responsibility, integrity and the ability to independently drive work and development. In your work you will act as a sounding board for those responsible for various security areas as well as act as an advisor and support to managers and staff at the authority. As the role involves close contact and cooperation with different parts of the National Board of Health and Welfare's departments, you need to have good ability to collaborate, coordinate and you have a working style that is communicative, attentive and constructive. You are pedagogical and have good knowledge of security compliance legislation and its practical application. As a security compliance officer you have good judgment, high security awareness and a good ability to understand how regulations and laws affect the entire authority's operations. We are looking for someone who has relevant university/college degree or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the National Board of Health and Welfare deems relevant. multiple years of current practical experience in security compliance work very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. It is meritorious if you have current experience working with security compliance at a government agency in a similar role current security compliance training clearance competence Good to know The employment is a permanent position that begins with a probationary period of six months. The position is full-time. Your job title will be analyst. You will work from the office at Västerbroplan in Stockholm. In spring 2027, the authority will move to newly renovated premises in Solna strand. The position is classified and a security clearance with background check will be conducted before employment is decided. You must therefore be a Swedish citizen.
