Dala Vatten och Avfall manages the operations, development, coordination, administration and planning of water, wastewater and waste activities in Gagnef, Leksand, Rättvik and Vansbro. The head office is located in Leksand. Much of the work we do is neither seen nor heard, but it would immediately be noticed if it stopped. Through planning, analysis and development, we deliver the critical infrastructure that is the fundamental prerequisite for us to live in our municipalities. We are now seeking a Senior Accounting Economist Responsibilities As a Senior Accounting Economist, you will be an important support for both the finance department and the operations regarding external accounting, development and improvement work. You are responsible for fixed assets ledger and coordination of financial statements and annual report work with auditors, tax returns and management audits. In this role, you also have system administration responsibility for the accounting system and closing system. We offer a varied and developing role with extensive contact areas, in an investment-intensive and socially important operation. Today we work in the accounting system Visma and the closing system Capego. Qualities We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical and thorough, with a proactive drive and good collaboration skills. Education and Experience To succeed in this role, you have a business administration degree and at least 5 years of work experience, or experience from a similar role.
