We offer our customers a comprehensive solution from start to finish, with production services including sheet metal processing, welding, machining, blasting, painting, and assembly. Our customer base consists mainly of heavy industry players, while we see growing demand and significant development opportunities in the energy sector and in protection and security segments. About the Position: As Senior Accounting Assistant, you will support several companies within the group, with AB Larsson & Kjellberg being the largest and primary focus. You will have independent responsibility for ongoing accounting operations and serve as qualified support to the CFO and the rest of the organization. You will ensure high quality in accounting processes. Your areas of responsibility will include: Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts. Handling VAT reporting and basic tax administration. Accruals and year-end closing work on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Preparing payment proposals and bank reconciliations. Participating in audits and preparing requested documentation. Identifying and driving improvements to accounting processes and internal procedures. Collaborating with operations and external stakeholders on financial matters. We are looking for someone who is thorough, quality-conscious, and works in a structured manner with strong planning skills. You need to be comfortable taking significant independent responsibility and working autonomously, while also being unpretentious and collaborative. You should also thrive in a workplace that is constantly developing and be driven to improve working methods and processes. We prefer candidates with 3-8 years of experience in qualified accounting work and solid knowledge of and experience with VAT, taxes, account reconciliations, and independent year-end closing work. You should also be familiar with modern ERP and accounting systems. It is a plus if you have prior experience with project accounting as well as process development and digitalization.
