Would you like to be part of developing models that have a direct impact on the business? Marginalen Bank is now seeking a quantitative analyst for our Credit & Analysis team. In this role, you will be a key person in the development and management of the bank's statistical models. You will work with model development throughout the entire lifecycle, from credit risk models and scorecards to risk classification and calculation of expected credit losses according to IFRS 9. Here you get to combine advanced analytical problem-solving with close collaboration across multiple parts of the organization. About the Team You will become part of an agile team consisting of a team lead, analysts, and quantitative analysts, where knowledge sharing, development, and innovation are high on the agenda. The models we develop and manage form the foundation for the bank's credit assessments, risk management, and reserves, making the team's work critical to both profitability and sustainable growth. About the Job As Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will, among other things: Drive development and further development of credit risk models in areas such as A-score, B-score, and IFRS 9. Take responsibility for the entire model development process, from data analysis and methodology selection to modeling, calibration, testing, and implementation. Contribute expert knowledge in statistical and mathematical models and support and coach colleagues on methodology-related questions. Work closely with model owners, model users, and stakeholders within Credit, Finance, Risk Control, and business operations. Participate in management, monitoring, and regular production runs of models. We would like to see that you... are an experienced analyst who enjoys taking responsibility, driving development forward, and turning complex questions into business value. You combine strong technical expertise with the ability to see the big picture and communicate your insights clearly and pedagogically. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: At least 4-5 years of experience in credit risk modeling or similar analytical work. Good knowledge of statistical methods relevant to credit risk models. Experience with programming in Python and/or R. Good knowledge of SQL or equivalent database management. Experience from banking, the financial sector, or consulting. An academic degree in, for example, statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, or another relevant field. As a person, you are: Initiative-taking and self-directed with strong personal drive. Analytical and solution-oriented with the ability to navigate complex issues. Accustomed to identifying risks and transforming them into concrete improvement suggestions. Generous with your knowledge and appreciate collaborating and developing others.
