Assignment Description
We are now seeking a Senior Finance Process & ERP Consultant for an exciting assignment in the energy sector. The assignment involves acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in finance within a comprehensive ERP implementation project, and driving the establishment and transformation of a future finance function for an independent corporate environment.
In this role, you combine deep accounting and finance expertise with experience in major ERP transformations. You are responsible for designing the future target operating model, leading the design and implementation of finance processes in the new ERP system, and supporting the transition from group-wide services to in-house operations.
Your main responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as a domain expert in finance throughout the ERP implementation journey.
Target Model & Governance: Define and design the future Target Operating Model for the finance function (organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, accounting principles, and internal controls).
ERP Implementation: Drive requirements gathering, evaluation of ERP vendors, solution design, testing, go-live, and change management.
Process Optimization: Drive harmonization and standardization of flows within Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
Super User & Training: Act as a key contact for finance-related ERP matters, develop process documentation, and train and support the organization.
Mandatory Requirements
Academic degree in accounting, finance, business economics, or equivalent. Competency level 5 (Senior expert). Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Extensive experience with financial statements, monthly/quarterly/annual closing, VAT, corporate tax, legal reporting requirements, as well as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, project accounting, and fixed assets.
Documented hands-on experience as an ERP Super User or Finance Systems Lead from larger ERP implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs.
Experience establishing or transforming finance organizations, defining processes, governance, and internal controls, and driving change initiatives.
Desirable Requirements
Experience establishing a finance function in a carve-out, independent corporate environment, or in larger restructuring projects.
Deep knowledge of K3 and IFRS, and experience from the energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors.
Experience with AI-supported finance processes, automation, and RFP and vendor selection processes for ERP.

Period: 2026-09-07 – 2027-03-31 (Start date negotiable).
Location & Format: Solna, Stockholm (Hybrid).
