On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a Senior Real Estate Manager / Land Surveyor for a long-term and socially important infrastructure project in the Stockholm region.
Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of future public transport by working with complex real estate and contract matters in one of the region's largest rail transit investments. This assignment is suitable for you if you have solid experience in land acquisition, real estate law, and contract negotiations, and thrive in a role where you combine business acumen with project delivery.
About the Assignment
You will work with real estate and contract matters within a geographically defined area. The assignment is placed in a project that is in the execution phase, with several ongoing contracts and many external stakeholders.
The role involves close collaboration with project managers, environmental specialists, design managers, and other specialists within the organization. You will drive matters independently while also serving as an important support in real estate legal matters for multiple projects.
Examples of Work Tasks
Drive implementation agreement negotiations with municipalities and major facility owners
Manage land acquisition negotiations with property owners and leaseholders
Prepare and negotiate real estate legal agreements, including easement agreements
Contribute to the progress of detailed planning processes
Prepare applications for land survey procedures and support during the procedure process
Identify and communicate needs for investigations related to real estate matters
Ensure documentation and contract management in ongoing matters
Assist projects and programs with qualified real estate legal expertise
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident in the role of real estate manager or land surveyor and who has experience working independently in large infrastructure projects. You are accustomed to driving negotiations, navigating complex decision-making environments, and creating momentum in matters involving many different stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements
University degree as a land surveyor, civil engineer in civil engineering with a focus on land and real estate law, or law degree with relevant real estate law experience
At least 9 years of experience as a land surveyor or equivalent role
At least 2 years of experience working with detailed plans
Experience with land acquisition negotiations in densely built environments
At least 4 years of experience from the execution phase of major infrastructure projects
Experience independently negotiating and preparing at least three of the following agreement types:
Implementation agreements between municipality and infrastructure owner
Operation and maintenance agreements
Agreements regarding utility relocation
Temporary use right agreements
Land allocation agreements
Easement agreements
Meritorious
Experience with implementation agreements in urban environments regarding road, railway, or tram projects
At least 2 years of experience from a client organization
Experience with complex negotiations with municipalities, authorities, and property owners
