Do you want to take AI solutions from idea to secure and scalable production? We're looking for a senior AI Engineer with architecture-level expertise and a focus on Microsoft Foundry. About the Role
You are responsible for the architecture and technical implementation of AI solutions on Microsoft's platform. You work through the entire lifecycle – from needs analysis and technology selection to development, evaluation, deployment, and further development.
It's a hands-on architecture role where you make overarching design decisions and develop code yourself. You guide other developers and explain technical choices to both business and IT stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
• Design solution architecture for AI applications and agents using Microsoft Foundry and Azure.
• Develop solutions with language models, RAG, tool calling, and integrations with business systems.
• Design information flows, search indexes, and permission-controlled access to business data.
• Ensure quality through systematic evaluation of responses, agent behavior, and model selection.
• Build in security and data protection, and manage risks such as prompt injection and unauthorized information access.
• Establish practices for version control, automated deployment, monitoring, and cost tracking.
• Lead technical workshops, document architecture decisions, and support colleagues in implementation.
We're Looking for You
• Have solid experience in systems development and solution architecture in Azure.
• Have practical experience with Microsoft Foundry or Azure AI Foundry and developing solutions with large language models.
• Have taken AI solutions to production and understand the requirements for reliability, performance, and maintenance.
• Are comfortable with Python and/or C# as well as API development and integrations.
• Have experience with RAG, vector search, and search services, such as Azure AI Search.
• Understand identity, permissions, networking, and secret management in Azure.
• Can weigh business value against technical complexity, cost, and risk.
• Communicate clearly in Swedish and English.
Merits
Experience with agent-based workflows, MCP, infrastructure code with Bicep or Terraform, and integrations with Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, or Power Platform. Experience with AI governance and working in organizations with high security requirements is also valuable.
