About the Role
Our client, a technology-driven consulting firm, is seeking a senior AI architect who wants to work at the forefront of modern AI development. You will work on assignments with clients in both the private and public sectors, with a focus on designing, building, and deploying advanced AI solutions.
The role involves taking responsibility for the architecture and implementation of solutions based on Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based systems.
This is not a role for experimental prototypes – we're looking for someone with experience taking AI solutions all the way to robust production environments with requirements for performance, scalability, and quality.
You work both strategically and operationally: setting technical direction, designing architecture, and being hands-on in implementation.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with:
Documented experience designing and deploying LLM-based solutions
Built and implemented RAG architecture (embeddings, retrieval, chunking, evaluation)
Experience with agent-based systems and workflow orchestration
Worked with performance optimization, scalability, and AI in production
Experience in regulated or complex environments (e.g., public sector, MedTech, finance, or similar)
Understanding of GDPR and/or AI Act
Several years of experience in software architecture and distributed systems
You're not just a developer – you take architectural responsibility and can justify technical decisions.
Desirable Experience
Multimodal models (vision + language)
OCR or document automation solutions
GPU/compute environments
Experience in an advisory role or technical leadership
Teaching, publishing, or open source involvement
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement LLM and agent-based systems
Set architecture for RAG and retrieval strategies
Ensure robust deployment and operational readiness
Work with AI governance, risk assessment, and documentation
Serve as a technical advisor on AI-related decisions
