Munktellskolan is a secondary school with approximately 525 students and 60 staff members. We have 18 classes distributed across grades 7–9 and work in three teams, one for each grade level. Since August 2023, we have been located in modern and bright facilities. We use digital learning materials as a natural part of teaching and achieve good results. We are now seeking a secondary teacher in mathematics and English for a temporary position with us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a secondary teacher with us, you will teach mathematics and English in grades 7–9. You plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction based on Lgr22. You adapt your teaching to meet the different needs and circumstances of students.
The position includes assessing and monitoring students' learning progress according to Lgr22. You will also document students' learning development in V-klass. You will also serve as a mentor to a class in grade 8. Together with colleagues, you work toward student safety, wellbeing, and development.
An important part of the work is building strong relationships with students and maintaining close dialogue with guardians. You collaborate with colleagues within your team and other professionals at the school to create a comprehensive approach to student support.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teacher certification with authorization to teach mathematics and English in grades 7–9. Alternatively, you are currently completing a teacher education program that will be finished soon. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good IT skills. You also have teaching experience, through work or practice teaching (VFU).
It is highly advantageous if you have experience with practical work based on Lgr22, through work or practice teaching. It is also highly advantageous if you have experience collaborating with social services, Team Förebygg, and BUP. Experience working with students in grades 7–9 is meriting.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to build strong relationships with students and contribute to a safe learning environment. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to adapt your teaching to meet the different needs and circumstances of students. You collaborate well with colleagues and contribute to a positive school climate.
Before employment, you must provide a current police clearance certificate.
Employment type: Temporary employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2027-01-11, end date: 2028-02-18.
Work hours: Daytime.
