The Unit's Mission The Swedish Public Employment Service Business Area Coordinated Support is seeking a section manager for the Eastern Skåne unit. As a section manager in the unit, you will be part of a management group with 9 section managers, a management staff, and a unit manager. Our national mission is to provide job seekers and employers with uniform, efficient, and qualified employment service. Job Description As a section manager within this mission, you will lead employment advisors who work within coordinated support - support focus Rehabilitation and Collaboration. The section belongs to the Eastern Skåne unit, and the section's mission includes mapping job seekers' prerequisites and collaborating and matching job seekers with employers who need to secure competence. Your role as section manager involves operational and personnel responsibility for a section of approximately 20 employees located in Kristianstad who work with job seekers and employers in northeastern Skåne. You are responsible for ensuring that the section's results contribute to the unit reaching its goals. As section manager, you have an important role in creating well-functioning teams and, together with your employees, driving and developing the operation. You enable good performance, high job satisfaction, and a good work environment by working in accordance with the Swedish Public Employment Service's leadership criteria. You promote a culture characterized by trust, openness, and security. Your work takes place in strong partnership within and outside your section and in good collaboration with union representatives. You are part of the unit manager's management group and will jointly with this person and the other section managers be responsible for the entire unit's results and development. As section manager, you are a role model in living up to the Swedish Public Employment Service's vision and direction for employee engagement and leadership. Basic Requirements for the Position Current experience in a leading role (consecutive assignment, project, work group) of at least 6 months within the Swedish Public Employment Service operations Or: Completed the Swedish Public Employment Service's preparatory management program Or: Current experience of management at a corresponding level with operational and personnel responsibility from another organization of at least 1 year And: Class B driver's license Additional Qualifications for the Position Experience of collaboration and cooperation with municipalities, associations, businesses, and other government agencies Good knowledge of labor market issues and the labor market policy mission Good experience in leading in a results-driven organization Experience in leading through change, creating structures, and working with participation that promotes high job satisfaction among employees The state's core values guide us in our daily work.
