The Unit's Mission The Swedish Public Employment Service Business Area Coordinated Support is seeking a section manager for the Eastern Skåne unit. As a section manager in the unit, you will be part of a management group with 9 section managers, a management staff, and a unit manager. Our national mission is to provide job seekers and employers with uniform, efficient, and qualified employment services. Job Description As a section manager within Vision Deaf Hearing, you will lead one of the Swedish Public Employment Service's special sections with specialist expertise in vision, deaf, and hearing areas. Employees include psychologists, audiologists, deaf consultants, vision specialists, and employment advisors with SIUS orientation (supported employment). The section is part of the Eastern Skåne unit but operates across Region South and currently also in certain parts of Region East. The goal of our work is to create full participation and equality for people with the aforementioned disabilities by providing them with support and creating conditions for work or education. Your role as section manager involves operational and personnel responsibility for a section of approximately 25 employees located at various offices in our region. You are responsible for the section's results and contribute to the unit reaching its goals. As section manager, you have an important responsibility to create well-functioning teams and, together with your employees, drive and develop operations. You enable strong performance, high job satisfaction, and a good work environment by working in accordance with the Swedish Public Employment Service's leadership criteria. You foster a culture characterized by trust, openness, and security. Your work takes place in strong partnership within and outside your section and in good collaboration with labor organizations. You are part of the unit manager's management group and will jointly with them and the other section managers be responsible for the entire unit's results and development. As section manager, you are a role model in living up to the Swedish Public Employment Service's vision and direction for employee and leadership development. Basic Requirements for the Position Current experience in a leadership role (continuous assignment, project, work group) for at least 6 months within the Swedish Public Employment Service operations Or: Completed the Swedish Public Employment Service's preparatory management program Or: Current experience in management at a corresponding level with operational and personnel responsibility from another organization for at least 1 year And: Class B driving license Additional Merits for the Position Experience of collaboration and cooperation with municipalities, associations, business, and other agencies Good knowledge of labor market issues and the labor market policy mandate Good experience leading in a target-driven organization Experience leading through change, creating structures, and working with participation that promotes high job satisfaction among employees Current experience leading licensed personnel within work-oriented rehabilitation Current experience leading remotely and through digital channels The state value base guides us in our daily work.
