Your responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is a strategic and trustworthy leader with a strong ability to build and nurture long-term customer relationships. You thrive with being out with customers and have a natural talent for identifying business opportunities and creating value.

Furthermore, you are an unpretentious leader with a down-to-earth approach, both toward customers and colleagues, and have a strong belief in team collaboration - the team before self. In this position, you will have personnel responsibility for approximately 15 environmental workers spread across Gothenburg whom you are expected to visit regularly. To support you, you will have several supervisors who drive the daily operations.
In the position, you will have operational responsibility for the section and together with your employees and colleagues, you will further develop and improve the section and review efficiency opportunities.
Region SydVäst is divided into several sections where City Services is one of them. You will be part of the management group for Region SydVäst, where you will have 7 knowledgeable colleagues by your side to drive the work forward together.

You are a clear communicator with a good ability to create engagement and contribute to a positive environment. To succeed in the role, we see that you have the following:
Some years of experience from a managerial position with personnel responsibility
It is meritorious if you have experience with budget and profit responsibility
Good IT skills with experience of the Office package and business systems.
Administrative ability and you learn new systems easily.
At minimum, you have a high school level education.
Industry experience or experience of a similar role is meritorious.
The position requires a B driver's license.
Other information.
Full-time 38.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
Permanent full-time employment with six months' probation.
Work location for the position is Gothenburg.
