We are looking for a Security Technician specializing in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and endpoint security for a full-time operational position in Malmö. You will become an important part of a larger hybrid IT environment with approximately 800 users and 160 servers, based on both on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Azure/Entra ID.
About the Role
You will work independently managing and further developing the organization's identity and security environment. The role involves close collaboration with internal IT teams, an external SOC partner, and vendors. You will drive security-related initiatives from analysis through implementation and contribute to a modern Zero Trust environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Active Directory and tiering model as well as separated administrative accounts.
• Work with Microsoft Entra ID, PIM, Just-In-Time Access, and Conditional Access.
• Handle MFA, SSO, FIDO2, access reviews, and account lifecycle management.
• Manage Microsoft Defender XDR/Defender for Endpoint, Intune/MDM, and Azure Arc.
• Perform security hardening of Windows and identity environments.
• Analyze and manage incidents in collaboration with SOC, including containment and escalation.
• Contribute to vendor assessments, compliance work, penetration testing, and improved security procedures.
• Automate and document using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
What We're Looking For
We seek someone with practical experience in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and IAM who can independently drive technical security matters. Experience with AD Tiering, PAM/EPM, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, Microsoft Defender, EDR, Azure Arc, Intune, Windows Server, PowerShell, or Microsoft Graph API is a plus. Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, NIST 800-171, or CMMC L2 is an advantage.
As a person, you are self-directed, organized, and comfortable communicating with IT operations, system administration, SOC partners, and external vendors. The assignment starts by agreement and covers approximately six months.
