Your Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will work within Saab's security function, providing services to the operations and handling security-related tasks.
The main focus of this role is to independently conduct security clearance interviews and associated administration. We are therefore looking for someone with practical experience in this area who can contribute from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Conduct security clearance interviews
• Plan and coordinate interview and security clearance processes
• Administer and follow up on security matters
• Perform background checks
• Contribute to personnel security initiatives
You will be part of Group Security at Saab, which consists of 15 employees spread across various locations in Sweden. Your work location will be in Linköping, but regular travel is part of the role, primarily to Gothenburg.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role, you need experience independently conducting security clearance interviews. Education and/or experience in security is a merit, as is education in law, behavioral science, or similar fields.
You are comfortable taking personal responsibility for planning, scheduling, and administration, and you drive your tasks forward independently. You will be part of a team, so we appreciate if you bring positive energy, flexibility, and strong collaboration skills. The role includes administrative work, which you ideally handle in a structured and organized manner.
You have good computer skills and speak Swedish and English fluently, both verbally and in writing. Since travel is part of the role, a valid driver's license is required.
This position requires that you undergo and be approved according to applicable security clearance regulations in force at any given time. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, certain citizenship may be required in some cases.
Application Process
This is a consulting assignment through Skill. The assignment is allocated at 50%, but there is an opportunity for a position at 75% or 100% in dialogue with Saab, where additional areas within personnel security could be added.
