At Astrid Lindgren's World, visitors step directly into the world of fairy tales and become part of it. Children and their families meet, talk, and play with characters from Astrid Lindgren's books. During peak season, our visitors enjoy over 30 different performances daily, featuring stories from the beloved books. Each year the park welcomes half a million visitors, making us Sweden's largest outdoor theater and a fairy tale world that creates lifelong memories. Our mission is to bring Astrid Lindgren's literary legacy to life and work in her spirit, guided by the core value that all people have equal worth and importance. Here, everyone plays a meaningful role in creating an authentic and genuine experience of Astrid Lindgren's World.
Would you like to be part of our work?
As a Stage Technician at Astrid Lindgren's World, you will perform stage technical and lighter audio technical tasks, as well as maintain our performance venues. We have eight different performance stages where shows run throughout the day. You will be part of the Stage and Sound team.
Astrid Lindgren's World is open seven days a week from May through August, in all weather conditions. Therefore, we're looking for someone who finds solutions rather than problems, takes responsibility for their tasks, and thrives in a work environment where conditions can change quickly.
The work is sometimes physically demanding, so it's important that you enjoy an active job.
We work closely together here and help each other, both within our team and across other departments. We're looking for someone who is social and enjoys collaborating. Your personality and ability to fit into the team will be an important part of our overall assessment.

Employment Period: Periods vary depending on which performances you work with, as we have different rehearsal schedules. The longest period runs from late March, with all periods ending August 15, 2027.
We are also open weekends weeks 33–37 and three weeks at the end of October.
Salary: According to agreement between Scen & Film and Svensk Scenkonst.
