Reg. No. LV40003439279 INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR WORK SOCIAL CARE ASSISTANT AT SHORT-TERM SOCIAL CARE CENTER for a fixed period until 31.08.2027. (full-time) (profession code: 532101) The Short-term Social Care Center is a structural unit of Riga 1st Hospital that provides short-term social care and social rehabilitation services to adults. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: • participate in assessing client basic needs and functional abilities upon client admission; • recognize changes in client's physical, emotional condition and behavior; • participate in developing and updating client care plans according to actual client situation, monitor care plan implementation; • promote maintenance and improvement of client's quality of life; • regularly participate in caregiver shift handovers – follow entries in shift handover logbook, control consistency of entries and actions; • ensure satisfaction of client basic needs at individual level (organize client living space arrangement, organize client supervision activities, walks, request necessary hygiene products, inventory, technical aids, etc. for clients). REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES: • secondary general or secondary vocational education; • desirable experience in providing social care; • state language proficiency at least intermediate level; • computer skills: text processing programs, use email, use internet browsers, as well as work in Windows environment; • ability to independently organize own work; • good communication and cooperation skills; • psycho-emotional resilience; • patience, kind and empathetic attitude.
