About the job as remediation technician As a remediation technician at OCAB, you work with restoring environments after fire, water, and mold damage, for example. You meet people in vulnerable situations and contribute with both your expertise and service mindset to create security and long-term solutions. The work is practical, varied, and performed according to applicable regulations, safety requirements, and instructions. The role involves significant personal responsibility while working closely with colleagues and customers. Examples of work tasks: Remediation after fire, water, and mold damage Graffiti removal and handling of nicotine and oil damage Specialized remediation of various kinds Personal property handling and cleaning services Work related to property emergency services when needed Use of equipment, personal protective equipment, and digital tools Who are we looking for? Since some assignments require training and certifications, we see that you are curious and want to develop within the profession. Requirements for the position Secondary school education or equivalent work experience Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Basic digital skills Category B driver's license Ability to use personal protective equipment and other tools Meritorious Experience or training in remediation Knowledge of, for example, PCB, pest control, graffiti removal, or chemical workplace risks Training in fall protection, lifts, or mobile work platforms Information about background check In accordance with our customers' requirements, a background check in the crime and police records register is conducted as part of this recruitment process.
