Beautiful Minds daily activity (LSS) is seeking a confident and creative coordinator!
Our daily activity program, Beautiful Minds, serves individuals on the autism spectrum as well as those with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to offer stimulation, community, and personal development based on each individual's unique circumstances. The support we provide is tailored to each participant's own wishes and capabilities.
To create the best conditions for personal development, we strive for close and clear collaboration between participants, case managers, employers, and other important people in their networks.

Your Role:
You will lead, support, and inspire our staff in their daily work within the program. You allocate resources, plan schedules, staff positions, and play a vital role in ensuring quality service delivery.
The goal is to ensure that our participants receive the interventions they have been approved for while creating a good work environment for our team. You will work closely with the program manager on quality and improvement initiatives.
You will need to maintain responsive collaboration with both staff and the program manager regarding how the program is structured, while there is ample room for your own ideas.
You will spend a portion of your work time in the program itself, as we believe this provides greater understanding of the program and the conditions it operates within.
Your Qualities:
We are seeking a confident and mature person who enjoys being active and creative in their role. You should have experience in daily activity programs or other employment activity services and possess extensive knowledge of disabilities and functional capacity. It is a significant advantage if you have knowledge in pedagogy and adaptations, as you will support staff in their pedagogical work.
You should have experience leading others and feel comfortable maintaining close dialogue with case managers, LSS health services, family members, and residents.
Qualifications:
B-class driver's license: required
You have basic training in care and service, and beyond that, post-secondary education. Examples include social work, support pedagogy, leadership, or studies in disabilities and functional capacity, etc.
You have personal work experience in the field and have experience leading others in an active environment.
