Job Responsibilities
As a community developer/project manager with a focus on climate and energy, you will lead and be responsible for various types of assignments to drive Piteå's development forward. The assignments can range from large complex projects, early analyses and idea development to implementation and follow-up.
A central part of the work is to lead and coordinate the municipality's work in the climate and energy field and to translate strategic goals into concrete measures and projects. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders, authorities, organizations and other societal actors, where dialogue, cooperation and communication are important parts of the work.
The position also includes contributing to larger cross-municipal development processes and projects, such as work on comprehensive plans, strategic community planning and various urban development projects. The role involves contributing expertise in climate and energy issues and ensuring that these perspectives are integrated into the municipality's long-term community development.
In the role you work independently and take great personal responsibility for driving matters forward. The pace is sometimes high, decision-making processes are short, and the opportunity to influence Piteå's future development is significant.
Collaboration and dialogue are crucial for success. You have many contact points and maintain ongoing dialogue with property owners, developers, consultants and authorities, while working closely with colleagues within the municipality.
Qualifications
An academic degree with a focus on community development or other equivalent education is desirable, but can be replaced by relevant experience. Experience with similar tasks, preferably within politically governed organizations, is considered an asset.
Your personality radiates positive energy – you see opportunities, contribute new perspectives and have the ability to find ways forward in complex issues. You create clarity, direction and participation – and you have both the courage and the will to drive change where needed. You are solution-oriented, driven and have a good ability to gather different perspectives and interests and create clear momentum in a shared direction.
You need good skills in expressing yourself orally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have a category B driver's license.

The position is permanent, full-time, placed in Community Development Land & Development.
