Your Role
As a sales manager / assistant store manager at Lidl, you are the store manager's right hand and have a natural place in store management. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are carried out efficiently, correctly, and on time. Of course, you participate in daily store operations and work together with the team to give our customers the best store experience.
The role includes tasks such as:
• Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store
• Support the store manager in daily store operations and ensure you reach results by leading, motivating, and developing store staff, as well as participating in daily work in an exemplary manner
• Ensure the store lives up to our core values in customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability
• Work purposefully with the store's key metrics
• Coordinate and organize orientation and further training for all store employees
• You also have full responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. You have good problem-solving skills and are skilled at planning and delegating work tasks. You are driven by your strong customer focus and always prioritize the customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity in your work with the team is something you take for granted. Beyond that, you are a good communicator and can develop the team and store through feedback.
We also see that you:
• Have completed upper secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on retail.
• Speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing.
We consider it a merit if you have previous experience working as an assistant store manager, store manager, or department manager in grocery retail or another service-oriented sector.
