About the Position In the role of sales manager, you will have overall responsibility for the department's operations. You will ensure that the department meets the set budget while actively working to develop the product range and optimize sales together with your team members. Your tasks will be both strategic and operational. You will be included in merchandise planning, coach team members in the department, work with pricing, purchasing, sales planning and follow-up of sales plans, revisions, and daily shelf management work. You are responsible for ensuring an attractive and well-functioning department and ensuring that set schedules are followed. You will analyze figures and results to identify areas for improvement and take action to maximize sales. As a sales manager, you report to your nearest sales manager. About You To be successful in the role of sales manager, it is important that you have strong leadership skills and an interest in food and sales. You are customer-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and focus on the most profitable sales areas. Additionally, you are results-oriented and have the ability to work systematically to achieve set goals. We are looking for a person who is positive, ambitious, and a self-driven leader who puts the team before yourself. You should enjoy working at a fast pace and be able to inspire and motivate your team members with your drive. Order and structure are your principles from the warehouse to the store shelf, and you love organization and working with shelf management to maximize the department's sales. You should be a role model for your colleagues and customers and treat them with knowledge, a smile, and good judgment. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has worked in a grocery store for at least 2 years, preferably within ICA Has experience with store economics, Min Butik, and AoB Has interest and knowledge about food and follows trends in product assortment Has good insight into food safety and work related to this It is a merit to have experience from a similar position.
