About the Job Position: Permanent employment at 40 hours per week with a probationary period. Start date: October 1, 2026 or by agreement. Working hours: Early mornings, daytime, and occasional evenings and weekends as a natural part of the work. What will you do? Every day brings a fast pace and new challenges, but some of your main responsibilities are: Responsible for planning, leading, and developing the departments within your area of responsibility—both strategically and operationally. You'll have team leaders and a group of skilled store employees to support you, and you have personnel responsibility for them. Responsible for daily operations, staffing, optimizing sales and profitability within the Fresh Foods area, and actively working with sales management/sales planning, waste reduction, and self-inspection. Create and develop routines in daily work and develop employees and departments within your areas. Together with your team, drive the departments and develop operations and employees toward established goals. Ensure a pleasant, efficient, and sales-focused work environment. You're part of the store's management team and report to the Store Manager. The fresh food departments you'll be responsible for are fruits and vegetables, deli, cheese, and dairy. Who are you? You're skilled at creating and developing teams, are communicative and clear. You have a coaching approach, which means you delegate, provide feedback, and follow up on work. You're strongly results-oriented and work efficiently to optimize your department's performance and achieve set goals. You have the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage employees to create a positive work environment and a customer experience that exceeds expectations. You take on your role in the management team with great responsibility and can combine operational store work with actively contributing to strategic development matters. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, especially your ability to inspire and engage employees to create a positive work environment. We believe you: Have a secondary school education and speak and write Swedish fluently. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it's great if you do too. Have several years of experience in retail and fresh foods, preferably in a management position. Have good knowledge of fresh food departments. Have previous experience with self-inspection, knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene practices. If you have previous experience in a management position or other role with personnel responsibility, store economics, sales responsibility, staffing and scheduling, this is a merit. Are relationship-building and action-oriented with a strong interest in customer service, people, and groceries. What do you get?
