As a Sales Associate at Coop Surte, you are responsible for performing all common tasks in the store and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face outward and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in meeting customers and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store.
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you are in good physical condition as the work can involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong desire to learn and develop in your role.
Main responsibilities
Stocking and facing merchandise
Building eye-catching displays
Checkout work
Handling complaints and grievances according to procedures
Quality checks, cleaning, and organization in store, warehouse, and staff areas
Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Following inventory and waste reduction procedures
Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on store needs, you may also work with:
Product orders
Returns, receiving inspections, and delivery notes
Handling CAO
Price signage and campaign signage
Price changes
Opening and closing the store according to applicable procedures.

This position is a temporary contract for 6.35 h/week with start date immediately or by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled during day and evening shifts as well as weekends. We use probationary employment. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Requirements
Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required
18 years of age, as you must be able to work independently at the checkout
Merits:
Experience and expertise in retail and/or other service professions are advantageous
Upper secondary education.
Multilingualism.
Basic knowledge in retail economics or food handling.
