As a Sales Associate at Coop Brofästet, you will be responsible for performing all common retail tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the store and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store.
We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong willingness to learn and develop in your role.
Main responsibilities
Stocking and facing merchandise
Working in the manual delicatessen counter with deli meats, prepared foods, and fresh fish
Building sales displays
Cashier work
Handling complaints and issues according to procedures
Inventory checks, cleaning, and organization of store, stockroom, and staff areas
Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Following inventory and waste reduction procedures
Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on store needs, you may also work with:
Merchandise ordering
Returns, receiving inspections, and packing slips
Handling CAO
Price and campaign signage
Price changes
Opening and closing the store according to current procedures

This is a part-time position at 20 h/week with start immediately or by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends. We use a trial employment period. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Requirements
Good Swedish in speech and writing is required
18 years old, as you must be able to work independently at the cash register
Meritorious:
Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions
Secondary school education
Multilingual abilities
Basic knowledge of retail economics or food handling
Previous experience with manual delicatessen counter work
