As a Sales Associate in the Deli/Fish Counter at Stora Coop Halmstad, you'll be responsible for performing all common store duties and ensuring the best possible customer service. You're an important face of the company and work according to Coop's guidelines, procedures, and values. You're a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store.
We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong desire to learn and develop in your role.
Main Responsibilities
Restocking and facing products
Sales at the manual counter
Certain tasks as a cold beverage server
Certain tasks in the kitchen
Building sales displays
Handling complaints and feedback according to procedures
Spot checks, cleaning, and organization in the store, storage, and staff areas
Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Following inventory control and waste reduction procedures
Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:
Product ordering
Cash register work
Returns, receiving inspections, and packing slips
CAO handling
Price labeling and promotional signage
Price changes
Opening and closing the store according to current procedures.

This is a part-time position for 30 h/week with a start date by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled during daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends. We use trial employment. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Requirements
Good Swedish in speech and writing is required
18 years of age, as you must be able to work independently at the register
Meritorious:
Experience and skills from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
Upper secondary education.
Multilingual abilities.
Basic knowledge of retail economics or food handling.
Experience working in manual counters
Experience working with fresh fish or in a manual fish counter is strongly meritorious
