JOB RESPONSIBILITIES About the Role We are now looking for a Security Manager who wants to help develop our work with NIS2, CSL, security, resilience, and preparedness in accordance with our legal requirements. With us, you'll have a key role where you work closely with operations, management, and the board. You'll be an important driving force, helping us translate legal and security requirements into practical working methods that function in everyday operations. We are a smaller company where decision-making paths are short, collaboration is close, and opportunities to influence are great. As Security Manager, you are responsible for coordinating, developing, and monitoring the company's work in information security, cybersecurity, resilience, and preparedness. You will work both strategically and operationally to translate legal requirements, governing documents, and objectives into effective working methods that function in the organization's daily operations. The role also encompasses security work related to the company's IT/OT environment. To succeed in this position, you need to understand technical environments and how security requirements are implemented in practice within critical infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with operations managers, IT and OT functions, and external suppliers, consultants, and authorities. Your Main Responsibilities • Drive and coordinate the company's work related to the Cybersecurity Act, information security, and critical operational security requirements. • Develop governance, processes, procedures, and guidelines within cybersecurity and information security. • Coordinate risk analyses, continuity planning, and incident management. • Provide support to operations managers, management, and the board on security-related matters. • Coordinate work between operations, IT, OT, and external suppliers. • Monitor security requirements with suppliers and partners. • Contribute to strengthening the company's robustness, resilience, and preparedness. QUALIFICATIONS • We are looking for someone with experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT, OT, or related areas. • Experience working in IT and/or OT environments and understanding of networks, system operations, and critical infrastructure. • Good understanding of risk management, governance, and systematic improvement work. • Ability to translate legal requirements, regulations, and security requirements into practical solutions. • Communicative with an ability to build trust and collaborate with people in different roles. • Work independently, take initiative, and drive matters from idea to implementation. • A genuine interest in critical societal operations and a desire to contribute to a safer and more secure society. Meritorious • Experience with NIS2, the Cybersecurity Act (CSL), CER, or other relevant regulations. • Experience from the energy sector, municipal operations, or other critical societal operations. • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, OT environments, and industrial control systems. • Experience with management systems and work according to established security standards, such as ISO 27001. • Experience with segmentation, network security, SOC functions, or security monitoring.
