FACILITIES SUPPORT SPECIALIST

WE WILL ENTRUST YOU WITH organizing the ministry's facilities support, managing premises, inventory and work environment, as well as coordinating the delivery of facilities services and contract performance. You will also provide practical support to employees, organize meetings and guest receptions, and administer occupational safety measures.
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
higher or secondary professional education with relevant professional experience in facilities support, property management, or occupational safety;
knowledge of property management, fixed assets and inventory accounting, understanding of facilities contract administration and performance monitoring, as well as public procurement procedures;
knowledge in occupational safety will be considered an advantage;
ability to plan and organize facilities processes, assess needs, and propose practical solutions;
ability to work with MS Office and online platforms, experience working with DVS Namejs, Horizon, and HOP;
excellent knowledge of Latvian language and strong document preparation skills;
ability to independently plan work while successfully collaborating with colleagues, respond promptly, and prioritize tasks in intensive work situations;
competencies - ability to work both in a team and independently, good communication skills, analytical thinking, and ethical conduct.
