Your responsibilities will include:
developing internal and external communication strategies and overseeing their implementation;
leading communication project development and supervising communications specialists;
planning and analyzing the agency's communication policy, providing improvement suggestions, and planning information campaigns;
planning, organizing, and conducting public events about Riga City Municipality Police activities and current matters for various community groups through media;
planning and coordinating interviews of Riga City Municipality Police representatives in media outlets and providing necessary consultation on interview conduct;
analyzing information in media outlets;
representing the Riga City Municipality Police's viewpoint in media, social networks, and public events related to municipal police operations, preparing and distributing information to media about the police's work, and conducting explanatory activities;
preparing textual and visual materials about police work;
organizing and conducting audio, video, or photo documentation as needed;
building internal communication by preparing text and visual materials, participating in event organization, and providing suggestions for necessary internal communication activities.
We expect from you:
higher education in public relations, journalism, or another field of social sciences;
state language proficiency at level C, stage 2;
at least 2 years of previous experience in communications work;
excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in teams, creativity, initiative, time management skills, stress resilience;
high sense of responsibility and precision in fulfilling duties;
excellent communication and conversation management skills.
