Do you want to work with water and wastewater systems?
Partille is growing and our Water and Wastewater Unit needs to expand our team. We are now recruiting two pipe fitters/Water and Wastewater Technicians who want to help develop both our water and wastewater network and our workplace.
As a pipe fitter with us, you'll get varied and practical work. One day it might involve preventive maintenance, the next day solving an acute water or sewage leak. You work with excavation, pipe laying, and ground work – together with your colleagues and sometimes with external contractors. Safety is always our focus and we help each other to ensure the job is done right. You'll become part of a team of eleven people, five of whom work as pipe fitters/Water and Wastewater Technicians.
We are looking for someone with drive, who likes taking responsibility and enjoys work where no two days are the same.
On-call duty may be included in the position.
Qualifications
Previous experience or training in construction work or water and wastewater systems is required, as is a B-category driver's license. You need to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish to collaborate with your colleagues and communicate professionally with our customers.
The following are merits:
Work experience with excavation
Computer skills – as we use digital tools in our operations
Customer service experience – as the work involves regular customer contact
C-category driver's license

Your New Workplace
The Water and Wastewater Unit plans and carries out the municipality's water and wastewater operations, manages the water and wastewater facilities, produces and distributes drinking water, and handles the discharge of wastewater and stormwater. The unit also participates in the municipality's urban development, such as detailed planning work. The unit employs 30 people. Staff are located at the municipal office, at Brodalens industrial area, and at Kåsjön water treatment plant.
