Job Duties As a radiologic technologist at the X-ray Clinic, you are offered varied and developmental work where you meet patients of all ages and contribute to safe and secure care. Our operations are an important part of the care chain and you work both independently and in close collaboration with other professional groups. At the clinic, radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, radiologists, and administrative staff work together to create high-quality examinations and good patient experiences. We are a fully digitalized operation and work with our patient flows in Sectra's RIS and PACS systems. As a radiologic technologist, you work with standard x-ray operations within several different modalities. Your duties include conventional x-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and other examinations within the clinic's areas of operation. You are responsible for planning and performing examinations based on the patient's individual needs and conditions. The work includes patient interaction, information and care, as well as ensuring a safe and secure examination process. You work closely with colleagues and other professionals to provide patients with good and high-quality care. The work is varied and requires flexibility, independence, and the ability to prioritize when the workday changes rapidly. As a radiologic technologist with a focus on intervention, you get to work at the intersection of care, medicine, and advanced technology. You become part of our interventional operations, where we perform a large number of different interventional procedures in close collaboration with several clinics, including vascular surgery, urology, gynecology, oncology, and upper GI surgery. You are part of a small and well-functioning work team consisting of radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, and physicians. Your duties include planning and preparing interventional procedures, assisting with procedures, and contributing to safe and secure care before, during, and after the procedure. You work independently within your area of responsibility, while teamwork and close collaboration with other professionals are central to the role. With main placement in intervention, you will also participate in the clinic's other x-ray operations. For this position, the working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus on-call duty as needed by operations. The entire clinic is digitalized and handles standard x-ray examinations in uro-gastro, skeletal, computed tomography, ultrasound, intervention, and MR. If you have experience in the profession, that is meritable, but we also welcome newly graduated professionals. Since a large part of the work consists of informative conversations with our patients, we see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Employment Terms Radiologic Technologist Permanent, full-time with working hours scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts, plus night shifts as needed. Start date by agreement. Radiologic Technologist with Focus on Intervention Permanent, full-time with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-call duty included as needed by operations. Start date by agreement.
