We are a force that binds together, holds together, and develops the region. Within Region Västernorrland, we are all part of something greater.
About the operation
Mammography Center RVN is a state-of-the-art facility where the goal is to detect breast cancer at an early stage. We combine medical expertise with great care for our patients and work to provide high quality, good accessibility, and professional care. The operation is based in Sundsvall where we conduct both clinical mammography and organized breast cancer screening throughout the region. An important part of the operation is our two mammography mobile units, which make it possible for women in Västernorrland to undergo screening near their hometowns. Doctors, radiologic technologists, nurses, and medical secretaries work together in a dedicated team with the patient in focus.
We are now seeking a radiologic technologist or nurse for our operation in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement.
We offer:
Daytime work, Monday through Thursday
Scheduled work time that enables free Fridays
Travel allowance when working at another location
Trust time
The opportunity to contribute to early detection of breast cancer and make a difference in women's health
Independent work with great personal responsibility and good opportunities to influence your workday
Job responsibilities
Your main workplace is the mammography mobile unit where you work with organized breast cancer screening. The work involves patient contact, imaging, and responsibility for ensuring that examinations are conducted with high quality and professional care. In the mammography mobile unit, you always work together with a colleague. You staff the operation together and collaborate on the day's workflow to create a safe and positive experience for the women.
The so-called northern mammography mobile unit is based in Örnsköldsvik and is stationed at two different locations within the region according to an established schedule. The position therefore includes working in Sollefteå for approximately 5-6 months every other year when the unit is stationed there. When working at a location other than Örnsköldsvik, travel allowance is provided according to current regulations, as well as accommodation.
This position is a good fit for you if you appreciate independence and meeting many people while working closely with a colleague in a well-functioning team.
