About Us
Villa Torsjö is a group home for individuals covered by the LSS target group 1, that is, people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. The home is for clients who need substantial cognitive support and seclusion, as well as for clients who struggle with overstimulation. Many of the residents are between 25 and 40 years old.
We work according to Humana's three fundamental methods: Low-Affective Approach (LAB), which means we work in a low-key and preventive manner; clarifying pedagogy; and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), to explain activities and tasks in a visually clear and structured way. Much of the work involves supporting clients in their personal development, and we use motivational conversations among other techniques.
About the Position
We are now seeking residential support workers for a specialized team linked to one of our clients, but you will also work shifts with other clients at the home. You will work closely together in pairs based on the client's needs and wellbeing.
In the team, you will:
Provide individual support, care, and services based on a common working approach
Plan and carry out activities with the client
Carry out delegated health and medical care tasks
Continuous supervision
Terms of Employment
We are now seeking an employee for a fixed-term position, which could transition to a permanent position in the future. The position is 80-100% and working hours vary, including days, evenings, and weekends.
We apply individual salary setting and other compensation is provided according to collective agreements. Start date for the position is by agreement.

Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist
Experience from similar operations
Experience working with clients with challenging behavior
Knowledge of low-affective approach and clarifying pedagogy
Good command of Swedish in spoken and written form, as documentation is a major part of the work
Category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
