The Secondary and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, and Swedish instruction for immigrants. The Board is also responsible for work-oriented rehabilitation and the municipal refugee reception. We collaborate to ensure that the municipality's residents learn, develop, and are able to live independent lives. The position is a temporary assignment, full-time, starting as soon as possible by agreement until June 18, 2027.
Your Responsibilities
As a resource pedagogue, you work in a team together with teachers, other educators, and the student wellness team to create successful and educational days for our students. As an employee at Dragonskolan, you are an important part of creating a safe environment for our students while also creating opportunities for students to develop according to their abilities.
Together with teachers, you plan and structure the school day based on customized pedagogy that provides predictability and security. You are present as support by the students' side throughout the school day, both in classes and during breaks. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create learning opportunities. Your tasks also include some documentation.
About You
You are a confident adult and a good role model who has the ability to connect with students. You see each individual and create a safe environment at school as well as work well in collaboration with others. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements
Completed education related to students with special needs support.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Valid excerpt from the police criminal record, as required by the suitability review law.
B-class driver's license, due to multiple internship visits.
Meritorious
Knowledge of the school environment.
Experience working with young people with, for example, school absenteeism.
