As a resource support staff member, you will be scheduled to cover both planned and emergency absences. You will work at a certain number of facilities specializing in autism where pedagogical work is important, including clear communication strategies, low-arousal approaches, and sensory stimulation.

Your Role with Us

As a support assistant and resource staff member, you will cover absences at several different daily activity facilities focused on autism. Currently, working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday during daytime.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Providing individual support to participants in their tasks/activities
Developing and maintaining abilities and communication with consideration for functional limitations
Supporting participants' involvement and participation
Supporting participants' self-determination and personal integrity
Handling documentation according to applicable guidelines
When applicable, performing medical tasks based on nurse delegation or assisting participants with self-care
When needed, serving as a contact person and ensuring implementation plans are established and followed up
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking someone with approved education from a healthcare and care program or children's and leisure program with a focus on social work. Education in or experience working with individuals with autism and clear communication strategies is required. It is an advantage if you have education and experience working with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and low-arousal approaches.
Because the work requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license with manual transmission is required for this position.
You have the ability to follow instructions, routines, and statutory requirements. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible and social, and find it exciting to work in multiple locations.

The Care Administration's services are directed toward seniors and individuals in need of functional support as well as those in need of home healthcare. The services are functionally divided into four operational areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and residential facilities, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes a municipal authority unit, a national upper secondary school, and an assistive device center in Eastern Skåne.
