Dorotea Municipality is seeking a resource staff member for children with special needs Job Responsibilities For the preschool, we are now looking for a responsible, engaged, and present person who wants to work with children with special needs. It is very important to us that you have a warm and positive attitude toward both children and guardians. In your role as resource staff, you will work to support and stimulate children's language and social development based on their individual needs and circumstances. What We Offer A temporary full-time position (100%), where working hours are based on the children's attendance times and may therefore vary. On days when children are absent, you will work as a substitute in the preschool and be available where the activity has the greatest need. Qualifications You have completed childcare training. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with children with special needs, but it is not required. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of sign language as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Conditions Temporary employment through December 18, 2026 at the earliest, with possible opportunity for extension Start date October 1, 2026 or by agreement All who work in preschool activities must show a valid certificate that is no more than 6 months old from the criminal record and suspicion register before employment, in accordance with the Education Act (2010:800). Recruitment may take place on an ongoing basis.
