Montessori Bjerred is an elementary school and preschool located on the outskirts of Borgeby. Borgeby is part of Lomma Municipality. We work with mixed ages where Montessori pedagogy permeates all of our activities. Montessori Bjerred is an economic association and operates as a parent cooperative with no profit motive. The association has an appointed board and an employed principal who is responsible for leading the operations. We work with Montessori pedagogy as a common thread throughout all our activities in harmony with our core values: security, community, development, and joy. About the Position We are looking for you to help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive school environment for students in grades 3–5. In this role, you will work both providing individual support and with smaller or larger student groups, based on each student's different circumstances and needs. You will be present as a support in teaching and in the school's daily operations, including during meals. An important part of the role is to strengthen students' sense of security, participation, and opportunity to develop their independence. Together with students and educators, you will work to create good conditions for learning, development, and achievement of goals. You will become part of the school's work team and collaborate closely with educators and other staff. Through your commitment and presence, you will contribute to a learning environment where all students feel safe, included, and supported. Who Are You? Qualifications Requirements: Approved upper secondary school diploma Experience working with children or youth in early teen years Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Merits: Childcare worker certification or other pedagogical education Experience working with children and youth in school activities The position is at 75-80% with possibility to 100%. Fixed-term employment through 261218 with possibility of extension. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis
