About the position:
As a mobile service technician, you work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of Aebi-Schmidt machines at customer sites and, to some extent, in the workshop. The work is planned by the service coordinator, but you are responsible for executing the assignments efficiently and with high quality.
The position involves travel across large parts of Sweden and occasionally internationally. Overnight stays are part of the job during certain periods.
Your tasks include, among others:
Perform service, troubleshooting, and repair in electrical, hydraulic, and some pneumatic systems
Work both at customer sites (approximately 40–80%) and in the workshop
Handle multiple tasks per day or longer jobs (1–3 days)
Carry out practical work such as welding, adjustments, calibration, and software updates
Read and work according to technical documentation and manuals
Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers before, during, and after work
Document work daily (time, materials, actions)
Manage spare parts and materials during ongoing assignments
Responsible for service vehicle, tools, and equipment
Book your own travel and accommodations according to policy
You work independently but always have support from technical support, both locally and within the group.
We are looking for you if you:
Have vehicle technical training with further education (e.g., from a brand workshop) or training in forestry/agriculture
Have experience with advanced troubleshooting and service
Have basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Can read and understand electrical and hydraulic diagrams
Have good IT skills and are comfortable with digital reporting
Speak and write fluent Swedish or English
Hold a class B driver's license
Have the ability to travel and stay overnight for work
It is an advantage if you have:
Experience with pneumatic systems
Certifications in hot work, traversing, or fall protection
Experience with workshop work (drilling, turning, milling)
Electrical or high-voltage training
SSG
German language skills
As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoy working independently. You have good communication skills and build trust in customer interactions. You are structured in your work and have a desire to develop long-term in this role.
