About the Role
As a Service Technician, you will have a varied and hands-on role where you work with service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and pumping equipment. You will be based at the office and work both at customer sites and internally in the workshop. You will progressively take on greater responsibility for your assignments and become an important part of ensuring that customers' equipment functions as intended.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and pumping equipment
Disassembly, cleaning, repair, and assembly of pumps
Replacement of seals and other components
Identify and resolve technical problems
Perform scheduled and emergency service assignments
Customer contact and technical support
Document completed work
Train customers on equipment use and operation
Collaboration with departments such as engineering and sales on complex matters
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who enjoys understanding how things work and finding solutions when something is not functioning as it should. You need to be hands-on and enjoy working with tools and machinery. Most importantly, you need to have the right attitude, technical interest, and the willingness to learn. Perhaps you have a background in vehicles, mechanics, industry, or similar and want to develop further within service technician work. Since the role involves significant customer contact and travel, we also see that you are service-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working independently.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a technical background or relevant practical experience
Has a strong technical interest and enjoys working hands-on with tools and machinery
Is solution-oriented and enjoys troubleshooting
Is service-oriented and comfortable with customer contact
Enjoys traveling and working independently
Holds a valid driver's license (Class B)
Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
Since customers are located throughout Sweden and beyond, this position involves travel days with approximately 40-60 overnight stays per year, though this varies. Day trips also occur and some assignments may involve several days away from home. Travel is planned in consultation and can also arise on short notice. You will have access to a service vehicle.
