About the Customer Motala Hissar was founded in 1972 with the manufacturing of freight elevators. Since the 1980s, the company has primarily focused on platform lifts, which are predominantly used for accessibility modifications of buildings. Over 10,000 lifts have been delivered to customers worldwide so far. Approximately 70% of production is exported and sold through partners; in Sweden, they work with direct sales of their products. They manufacture most of the components for their products at their factory in Motala; certain components are sourced from suppliers they work with, primarily regarding control systems and circuit boards. About the Position In this role, you will become a key person in the installation and technical support of lift systems. You will work both practically with assembly and have an important function in supporting and training collaborative partners. Your responsibilities will include: Installation and assembly of lifts on the Swedish market Traveling to international partners to provide training on lift installation and commissioning Technical support and troubleshooting as needed Collaboration with the company's quality and development department regarding improvements to installation and functionality Contributing practical experience from installations to simplify future assembly work The position involves regular travel, often weekly. You will be based at the office in Motala. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone with practical experience in lift assembly or installation who thrives in a technical and varied role where you can work both practically and in an advisory capacity. To succeed in this role, we believe you: Have experience with lift installation or assembly, for example platform lifts, passenger elevators, or freight elevators Have good technical understanding of mechanics and assembly Can read and understand electrical schematics Have experience with troubleshooting and technical problem-solving Communicate fluently in English, as you will be working internationally Hold a valid driver's license (Category B) It is advantageous if you also have: Technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent work experience Experience with assembly of mechanical systems or other advanced technical installations Additional language skills Pedagogical ability to instruct and train others Personal Qualities We believe you are an independent and solution-oriented person who thrives in a role where you can take responsibility and meet customers in various environments.
