Parkskolan currently consists of a primary school grades F–6 with 270 students, adapted primary school, and after-school care with approximately 160 students. The school has previously had a full-time principal and an assistant principal at 50%. Starting January 2027, we will have a shared principalship where two principals share the leadership responsibilities. The adapted primary school will become part of one principal's area of responsibility, but otherwise it will be coordinated with the new principal at the school. With this new shared principalship, good conditions are created for close pedagogical leadership and a sustainable management role. Work Duties We are seeking an engaged and driven principal for Parkskolan. As principal, you have a central role in leading and developing the operations. You work closely with staff, students, and guardians to create a safe, accessible, and inspiring learning environment. With operations-focused leadership, where students are at the center, you lead and develop the operations together with your staff. You are responsible for operations, staff, and finances, as well as systematic quality work. As principal of Parkskolan, you will be an important part of the continued development work. You contribute to creating a cohesive, clear, and sustainable organization where students' learning and development are the focus. In the coming years, we want to continue improving the quality of instruction, strengthen students' goal achievement, and strengthen systematic quality work in close collaboration with staff. You will be an important member of the Education Department's management group, where you and other school leaders strategically and long-term drive the development of the municipality's educational operations. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is trained as a teacher and has experience in school leadership and successfully leading development and change initiatives. A principal's program is an asset; if you have started the program, we see that as positive as well. You have a genuine commitment to children and young people. A prerequisite for success in this role is that you have a comprehensive view of what promotes students' learning, safety, and development. Your leadership is based on trust-based governance. We see that you are a communicative leader with the ability to create good relationships and build sustainable collaborations. As a leader, you are clear, present, and unpretentious. You create engagement by involving staff in development work while being able to make decisions and maintain direction when needed. We are seeking someone who is development-oriented, monitors the external environment, and has the ability to translate ideas into practical action.
