Every school day is important for students' confidence in themselves and their future. Do you want to lead and develop two primary schools with a focus on quality, structure, and good conditions for every student? We are now recruiting a principal for Norrgårdsskolan and Brunnsgårdsskolan.
As principal, you have overall responsibility for two grades F–6 schools with a total of approximately 320 students and around 40 employees. Norrgårdsskolan has approximately 240 students and Brunnsgårdsskolan approximately 80 students. Both schools are located in the central town.
You lead and develop the educational activities and ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students. You lead and distribute work, are responsible for employees, finances, and scheduling, and drive systematic quality work in line with the schools' goals and governing documents.
In this role, you work closely with the operations and have a clear focus on school development. Together with staff, you develop methods and instruction to strengthen quality and goal achievement. You plan, follow up, and evaluate activities and have an active role in the schools' development work.
As principal in Vetlanda Municipality, you are part of a collegial context together with other principals within primary school. Together you work to develop the entire primary school operations in the municipality. You meet regularly, both in the management group and in operations-related collaboration formats. You also have access to support from the administration's central support functions, including central student health, finance, HR, legal, and digitalization.
Norrgårdsskolan and Brunnsgårdsskolan are two schools with different sizes and conditions. The assignment involves leading and developing both operations based on their respective needs, while creating structure, collaboration, and a common direction for the principal area. As principal, you may also have other assignments, both at the schools and at a higher level.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
pedagogical higher education or other education that we consider equivalent
experience working in educational operations in a leadership position
good knowledge of the school's governing documents and ability to implement them in daily work
experience leading systematic quality work and development processes
good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Category B driver's license
