Over the coming years, Scan has a need to recruit for its food production in Kristianstad. That's why we're looking for you who wants to train as a butcher or slaughterer. In collaboration with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and Astar, Scan offers a recruitment training program focused on butchering and slaughtering. The training runs from October 19 - March 26 and gives you fundamental knowledge in butchering and slaughtering. After that, you can expect continued training and a fixed-term employment at Scan, with good opportunities for an extended contract. The recruitment training is full-time and is aimed at you who are registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service and completely unemployed. Theoretical and practical components are combined, and the practical training parts are held at Scan in Kristianstad. Before recruitment, we conduct background checks and drug testing. The training has a limited number of places with a maximum intake of 15 participants. Who are you? - You are over 18 years old. Age limit due to working time regulations and because the work is physically demanding. - You enjoy physical work. You're on your feet and work most of the day. - You have good knowledge of the Swedish language. This is a requirement since the training is held in Swedish and it is crucial that you can understand safety instructions and hygiene rules in the workplace. - You are completely unemployed and registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service.
