Work Activities: THIS IS A POSITION IN THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SECTOR Negotiating with suppliers. Communication with departments across the company (production, quality, technology, design) and with end customers. Ensuring cooperation in collaboration with manufacturing facilities, responsibility for pricing, delivery schedules, and transportation of these cooperations. Maintaining supplier records, upkeeping a catalog of purchased items, responsibility for pricing of all ordered items, and creating and approving annual supplier price lists and compliance with "supplier identification regulations." Searching for new suppliers through inquiries and competitive bidding processes. Preparing documentation for concluding trade and framework agreements, as well as orders with business partners. Responsibility for purchasing materials, goods and services, creating orders and ensuring required delivery deadlines are met. Finding potential savings in purchased materials, services, etc. Maintaining required records in business dealings with business partners. Processing relevant documentation and inventory records. Evaluating and analyzing business activities in the purchasing of goods and materials for inventory according to required wholesale criteria and in set time intervals. Handling complaint proceedings. Issuing production documentation, monitoring compliance with agreed delivery dates, ensuring dispatch, issuing and transferring billing documentation. Checking and approving the accuracy of invoices received from suppliers. Archiving completed business cases.
