We are now looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist for a well-renowned specialist team in central Stockholm.
About the role
In this role, you will work closely with CFOs, finance managers, and finance functions on complex and evolving assignments. You will serve as specialist support on qualified accounting matters and help customers navigate everything from ongoing group accounting to major change projects and strategic initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced issues within accounting and financial reporting, while also becoming an important advisor in connection with, for example, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, IFRS conversions, and implementation of new regulations.
The role involves close collaboration with experienced specialists where knowledge exchange, development, and quality are at the center.
Example responsibilities
Responsible for and quality assure group accounting according to IFRS and K3
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, interim reports, and annual reports
Provide advice on complex accounting matters and regulations
Support customers in acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings
Participate in IFRS conversions and implementation projects
Provide specialist support to CFOs, finance managers, and accounting departments
Conduct internal and external training on accounting and reporting
Contribute to the development of methodology, processes, and working methods
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics and several years of experience from audit, accounting specialist roles, or qualified group accounting. You have a genuine interest in complex accounting matters and thrive in the role as an advisor. You are analytical, business-minded, and enjoy translating regulations into practical solutions that create value for the business. We believe you have:
Several years of experience in group accounting and financial reporting
Good knowledge of IFRS and K3
Experience with complex accounting matters
Experience from audit firms, consulting, or larger group environments
Good communication skills in Swedish and English
