Do you have education or experience in bookkeeping, finance, or financial administration? We are looking for an accounting economist for a one-year parental leave coverage role with a broad and varied position in accounting and finance. As an accounting economist, you will be employed as a consultant at StudentConsulting and work on assignment at Svevia in Växjö. Here you will have a broad role within the financial workflow with varying tasks including ongoing bookkeeping, financial administration, financial statements, and tax returns. The tasks and degree of responsibility will be adapted based on your previous experience and competence. Examples of tasks: Ongoing bookkeeping and payroll management VAT and income tax returns Financial statements and annual reports Financial administration Reconciliations and follow-up Advisory and tax investigations Other finance-related tasks The assignment is a parental leave coverage position for approximately one year, and during this period you will be part of Svevia's operations in Växjö. You will have a varied workday where you work both independently and together with colleagues, with a focus on quality, structure, and well-functioning financial work. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for you with relevant finance education or experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration. You are thorough, structured, and responsible, have good computer skills and knowledge of Excel, and speak and write Swedish fluently. Previous experience with accounting work and accounting systems is a merit. We place great emphasis on you having a good basic understanding of finance and accounting as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and systems.
