About the Company We are currently seeking Accounting Professionals proactively for future needs among our clients in Gothenburg. Our client base spans several different industries and includes everything from small companies to larger organizations. We offer both permanent placements and consulting assignments – depending on what suits you and our clients' needs. Your Responsibilities Your upcoming tasks may include: Ongoing accounting and bookkeeping Account reconciliations and quality assurance of accounting Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements VAT and tax accounting Accruals and other year-end closing-related tasks Financial reporting and monitoring Liaison and collaboration with auditors and other parts of the organization Development and streamlining of financial processes and procedures The responsibilities vary depending on the assignment, company, and level of experience required. Your Profile We are looking for someone with previous experience in accounting who wants to continue developing within the field. You are familiar with ongoing accounting and reconciliations and preferably have experience with year-end closing work and financial reporting. You are meticulous, organized, and responsible and thrive in a role where quality and deadlines matter. You have a genuine interest in finance and enjoy both working independently and collaborating with colleagues and other parts of the organization. Since our clients' needs vary, we would appreciate your curiosity about new systems, work methods, and business operations. Key Success Factors Experience in accounting work Relevant post-secondary education in finance or equivalent Experience with ongoing accounting and reconciliations Experience with year-end closing work Good system proficiency and strong Excel skills Meticulous, organized, and responsible Good communication and collaborative skills Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing Experience with annual reports, VAT and tax matters, and various accounting and business systems is a plus.
